Bully For El Bulli!



If travel happens to take you to one of my favorite countries, Spain, you must visit one of my favorite restaurants, El Bulli. Run by one of the best chefs in the world, Ferran Adria, this must-see in Roses is an acknowledged mecca for foodies. The 35-course grand tasting menu is a complete symphony of tastes,textures and wonder, as evidenced by the oysters topped with smoked Iberian pancetta above. From start to finish, the dining experience revolves around intimacy, topped with an air of exclusivity. The restaurant holds only 50 people, has just one seating per night and limits its operation from the months of March through October. That means make your travel plans well in advance--out of the 400,000 requests they receive for reservations, only 2,000 per season are filled--unless, of course, that special someone in your life has the right connections.
