Maldives Paradise

When winter is in full force and I really need to get away from it all with someone special (beyond a quick jaunt to the Caribbean or Mexico), my preference is the Maldives. Located in the Indian Ocean and comprising over 1,000 individual islands, the white sand beaches and crystal clear water have served as fertile settings for more naughty thoughts than I care to divulge. If times call for a really relaxing and romantic getaway, aim for the resorts located on Soneva Fushi and Soneva Gili. As the photo above shows, they promise the utmost in quality, attention to detail and, of course, total pampering.
